Badlands Golf Club

Badlands has three nines: the Desperado, Outlaw and Diablo and each is considered to be some of Las Vegas' most difficult golf. Each nine has its own distinct flavor but neither is much easier or harder than the other. Each is also a par 36.

The newest nine, the Outlaw, has the widest, most forgiving fairways which funnels shots back towards the target zone. The final hole on the Outlaw however is among the most difficult and tempting at Badlands. At 511 yards from the championship tees, it's reachable in two, but only if you can carry water guarding the front of the green.

The most difficult combination at Badlands is the Desperado-Diablo pairing, which plays slightly less than 7,000 yards and a 73.0 rating. The easiest is the Desperado-Outlaw, which plays 6,600 yards and a 72.10 rating.

Despite being one of Vegas' toughest, it's also one of the more beautiful courses. Breathtaking scenery abounds, including deep-flowing arroyos, canyons and natural washes surrounding desert landscape and a mountain backdrop.

The Nike Golf Learning Center and Ken Venturi Academy are located at Badlands and lessons at the full-service practice facility can be included in any golf packages. The club was voted in 1997 as the "Best of Las Vegas" by the Review Journal Readers' Poll and was ranked among the "Top 10 Best Golf Courses in Nevada" by Golf Digest.
